A panel of experts on Capitol Hill internships will be on hand to discuss the ins and outs of placement, supervision, and other issues that affect interns on the Hill.

In preparation, you may want to read this report on the congressional staffing pipeline LegBranch.com. It helps to answer the questions:

What schools produce the most staffers on Capitol Hill? Do certain colleges or universities have established pipelines to the Hill? And how do the parties differ on from where they hire or what degrees they expect their DC-based staff own?

A thank you to Kasie Clark of College to Congress for helping to arrange the panel and to Carnegie Mellon for hosting us!

The tentative schedule for the meeting is as follows:

2:00 p.m. Check in and Networking

2:30 p.m. Introductions and Announcements / Short Presentations by the Embassy of India and the GWU Graduate School of Political Management

3:00 p.m. Program Panel

4:15 p.m. Open Forum for Discussions/Questions/Idea Exchanges

4:45 p.m. Conclusion no later than 4:45
